The Butterfield Hall community kitchen is officially complete, as brand new stools have arrived. Students can now both eat AND sit in their new kitchen.
Butterfield Hall - Brody Neighborhood
Butterfield Hall will house new upperclassman communities that are being created to offer more independent living to students for the fall 2010 semester. A community kitchen is being created to allow students to prepare their own food or to be used for special events and will be located on the second floor.

The Butterfield kitchen construction/redesign is complete yet awaits final furnishings, namely stools for the island. Updated light fixtures have been installed, all painting throughout the room is finished and appliances are secure. The project was successfully completed just in time for early move-in.

The community kitchen is mostly complete. The folding area of the laundry room on the second floor was demolished and has been turned into the new community kitchen. All of the kitchen cabinets and appliances have been installed and the walls have been painted. All scrap construction material from the demolition was recycled as possible.
