The west lounge of Akers is complete. New carpeting, which wraps around into the hallway, is installed and the laptop counter is finished.
With classes in session, it’s the perfect spot for some quick study time between classes.
Akers Hall - East Neighborhood
Akers Hall is updating their public areas with more user-friendly lounges with a current look. Watch as we transform the old into the new and give the students a fun and enticing atmosphere to study, laugh and gather with their friends.
The West Akers study lounge is currently undergoing a few minor changes, including new carpet installation and an all-new counter area accompanied by multiple outlets for those students equipped with laptops. With so much time dedicated to other major East Neighborhood projects, this one has moved much more slowly but will finish in time for the first day of class.
